Tweendom

Tweendom is a literary magazine housed at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio focused on supporting both aspiring and professional writers. Our mission is to emulate a realistic and complexed perception of the forgotten culture that is tweenhood through a collection of artistic writings. Whether traumatic or comforting (maybe a bit of both), the years between ages nine and twelve are  nonetheless formative for the teenhood and adulthood to come. ​
Writers of all backgrounds and levels are encouraged to submit poetry, nonfiction, and fiction pieces to portray their tween years in whatever way they see fitting. Emphasis on the nuance and contrast of both the grit and glamour these years have is preferred. By sharing these vulnerable memories of ourselves, we hope to connect individuals in the awkwardness and beauty that is growing up.
